Pre-Loved Merchandise Purchase Terms

Secondhand Merchandise Disclosure

Pre-Loved by Waterford is a separate retail sales offering operated by Waterford Event Rentals, LLC for the purchase of previously used merchandise.

Purchases made through this online store are outright sales and are separate from Waterford Event Rentals’ event rental services. Purchasing an item does not create a rental reservation, rental agreement, event-service contract, or ongoing service relationship with Waterford Event Rentals.

The policies, guarantees, replacement standards, and service expectations that may apply to Waterford Event Rentals’ rental inventory do not apply to merchandise purchased through Pre-Loved by Waterford. Once purchased, the merchandise becomes the customer’s property and cannot be returned to Waterford Event Rentals as rental inventory.

Questions, concerns, or claims regarding a Pre-Loved by Waterford purchase must be handled according to the purchase terms and policies published on this online store, rather than Waterford Event Rentals’ standard rental agreement.

These items are not new. Due to their previous use, laundering, handling, transportation, storage, and normal wear, products may show signs of use or variation. This may include minor stains, fading, discoloration, fabric pulls, loose threads, small snags, wrinkles, repairs, sizing variations, shrinkage, missing labels, surface scratches, chips, dents, or other cosmetic imperfections.

These characteristics are considered normal for previously rented event merchandise and may not be individually photographed or described unless Waterford Event Rentals determines that an imperfection materially affects the item’s appearance or intended use.

Product Images and Descriptions

Waterford Event Rentals makes reasonable efforts to accurately represent each product. However:

• Colors may appear differently depending on lighting, photography, screen settings, and dye-lot variations.

• Measurements and sizing are approximate.

• Items of the same style or color may have slight differences in condition, shade, size, or appearance.

• Product photographs may be representative of the style and may not show the exact individual item received unless specifically stated.

Customers should carefully review all available product descriptions, photographs, dimensions, quantities, and condition information before purchasing.

Items Sold As-Is

All Pre-Loved by Waterford merchandise is sold AS-IS, WITH ALL FAULTS, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

By completing a purchase, the customer acknowledges that:

1. The merchandise is used or secondhand.

2. The merchandise may show normal wear or cosmetic imperfections.

3. The purchase price reflects the item’s pre-owned condition.

4. The customer has reviewed the product information and accepts the merchandise in its stated condition.

5. Waterford Event Rentals does not guarantee that previously used items will match newly manufactured merchandise or other items previously purchased or rented.

Except for any rights that cannot legally be excluded, Waterford Event Rentals makes no additional warranties, express or implied, regarding the condition, appearance, durability, merchantability, or suitability of the merchandise for a particular event, venue, or purpose.

Final Sale Policy

Because these products are pre-owned, offered at reduced prices, and available in limited quantities, all sales are final.

Waterford Event Rentals does not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations due to:

• Normal signs of prior use

• Minor stains, fading, pulls, wrinkles, shrinkage, scratches, chips, or cosmetic imperfections

• Color or shade variations

• Differences between screen images and the physical merchandise

• Incorrect measurements taken by the customer

• A change in event design, color palette, quantity, date, venue, or personal preference

• The customer’s failure to read the product description or these purchase terms

Nothing in this policy limits any rights or remedies that cannot be waived under applicable law.

Incorrect or Materially Misdescribed Orders

Customers must inspect their order promptly upon receipt or pickup.

Claims involving an incorrect item, an incorrect quantity, or merchandise that is materially different from its listing must be submitted in writing to info@waterfordeventrentals.com within three calendar days of delivery or pickup.

The claim must include:

• The customer’s name and order number

• A description of the concern

• Clear photographs of the merchandise, packaging, and shipping label, when applicable

The merchandise must remain unused and may not be washed, altered, cut, repaired, installed, or placed into service while a claim is being reviewed.

If Waterford Event Rentals confirms that an order was incorrect or materially misrepresented, Waterford may, at its discretion and subject to applicable law, provide a replacement, store credit, partial refund, or refund of the affected item.

Quantities and Availability

Pre-owned inventory is limited and may not be replenished. Availability is not guaranteed until an order has been successfully processed.

Quantities may contain slight variations between pieces. Customers purchasing items for a single event are encouraged to order enough merchandise at one time, as matching items may not be available later.

Waterford Event Rentals reserves the right to cancel and refund an item that is unavailable because of an inventory discrepancy, prior sale, damage discovered during fulfillment, or another circumstance preventing the order from being completed.

Cleaning and Preparation

Unless otherwise stated in the product listing, merchandise may have been commercially laundered, cleaned, or prepared before being offered for sale. Waterford Event Rentals does not guarantee that items will arrive pressed, steamed, polished, installation-ready, or free from every trace of prior use.

Customers are responsible for determining whether additional cleaning, pressing, steaming, polishing, repair, or preparation is appropriate before using the merchandise.

Pickup, Shipping, and Risk of Loss

Customers are responsible for reviewing the applicable pickup or shipping information before placing an order.

For customer pickups, the customer or authorized representative is responsible for inspecting and confirming the order at the time of pickup.

For shipped orders, the customer is responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. Waterford Event Rentals is not responsible for delays, loss, or delivery issues caused by an incorrect address, refusal of delivery, failure to retrieve a package, carrier delay, weather, or circumstances outside Waterford Event Rentals’ reasonable control, except as otherwise required by law.

Any visible shipping damage should be photographed before the packaging is discarded and reported within three calendar days.

Not a Rental Transaction

Products purchased through Pre-Loved by Waterford are sold outright and become the customer’s property upon completion of the sale. These purchases are separate from Waterford Event Rentals’ rental services and are not governed by the company’s standard rental agreement unless expressly stated otherwise.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Waterford Event Rentals will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the purchase, possession, installation, or use of pre-owned merchandise.

Waterford Event Rentals’ total liability relating to a purchased item will not exceed the amount paid for that specific item, except where a different remedy is required by applicable law.

Acceptance of Terms

By placing an order for Pre-Loved by Waterford merchandise, the customer confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these purchase terms, including the disclosure that all merchandise is previously owned, may show signs of use, and is sold as-is and as a final sale, except where otherwise required by law.
